Navy Sports Game Day Guide
- Vehicle Access to the USNA
Vehicle access to the United States Naval Academy is restricted to those vehicles with a permanent Department of Defense sticker affixed to them. All other visitors -- including fans attending sporting events -- will need to either park outside of the USNA grounds and enter the Academy through the visitors entrance located at Gate One, or else park at the shuttle bus (see below for sports supported by the shuttle bus) pick-up point which will take them to and from the USNA.
- Gate One Pedestrian Entrance
The pedestrian entrance is located at the corner of King George St. and Randall St in downtown Annapolis (for GPS purposes, use 52 King George St., Annapolis, MD 21402)
- Sports Supported by Shuttle Buses
The ONLY sports contested on the USNA grounds that are supported by a shuttle bus during their regular season are:
- Baseball (only Patriot League games)
- Basketball (men's and women's)
- Soccer (men's and women's)
- Track & Field (men's and women's, indoor and outdoor)
- Volleyball
- Wrestling
- Shuttle Bus Primary Location
The primary pick-up and drop-off point for the USNA shuttle bus is the blue side (west) parking lot at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, in front of the Blue Angel plane. The parking lot entrance is located off of Taylor Avenue on the south side of the stadium (550 Taylor Ave., Annapolis, MD 21401). The shuttle bus will run from this point EXCEPT for on days of Navy home football games (2013 Schedule: Sept. 14, Oct. 5, Oct. 26, Nov. 9, Nov. 16).

The originating point of shuttle bus service to the USNA on Navy football home game days will vary. Please check the story releases for that sport appearing on www.NavySports.com in the week leading up to the event for further guidance.
- Shuttle Bus Hours
No matter its starting point, shuttle bus service to the USNA begins one hour prior to the start of the first Navy sporting event of the day and runs until one hour past the conclusion of the final Navy sporting event of the day.
- Shuttle Bus Cost
Parking at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium costs $5. per vehicle. The shuttle bus itself is free.
- Rowing Races
There is no shuttle bus service available either prior to or after the conclusion of home rowing races. To access the USNA grounds for a race, fans must park outside of the USNA gates and walk through Gate 8, which is located at the stoplight found along Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd. (Rt. 450) east of the stoplight at King George Street and west of the bridge that crosses over the Severn River. Proceed through the gate to Hubbard Hall for information on the course that will be used for the day's race.
- Personal Identification
Whether a visitor rides the shuttle bus to the USNA or walks through one of its gates, everyone over the age of 16 must present a government-issued photo identification card (such as a drivers license) to gain access to The Yard.
- Game Day Tickets
Purchases of tickets on the day of the game for events held on the USNA grounds must be made in cash.
- Pets
Pets of any kind are not allowed either on the shuttle bus or inside of the gates / facility of any Navy sporting event.
