Navy Qualifies for College Sailing Women's Nationals

Mids finish second out of 10 teams at St. Mary's.


Intercollegiate Sailing Begins Team Racing Season

Mids competed at Bob Bavier and GW Team race, while Tom Noble was abandoned.


Intercollegiate Sailing Qualifies for Women's ACC

Mids competed in two regattas this past weekend.

As a Freshman: Addison sailed in 12 events his freshman year including the ICSA Singlehanded National Championship. He had seven top-five finishes this year. Top finishes included a third Place Finish at Laser Fall South, third at Carl Van Dyne and second place finish in a division at the Jesuit Open leading to an overall team win.

Prior to Navy: Grew up in St. Pete, Fla. Graduated from Lakewood High School in 2014. Grew up sailing in St. Thomas, USVI. Sailed internationally and nationally in Lasers and Sunfish. Also participated in soccer, flag football and cycling. Son of Gordon and Cindy Hackstaff.
