Markus Edegran

As a Freshman: Markus sailed in 12 events during his first year at Navy as a skipper in both fleet racing and as a skipper on the "A" team race team. He competed in A division for both the ICSA National Semi-Finals and the ICSA Nationals in Austin, Texas. He most memorable finishes include a win at the ODU Spring Open, a win at the Tom Noble Team Race, and a ninth in a very competitive A division at the National Semi-finals.

Prior to Navy: Graduated from Hackley School in Tarrytown, NY, Class of 2011. Member of the Varsity Soccer and Squash teams. Sailed Optimists, c420s, and i420s. Placed second at the 2009 c420 Nationals and first at the 2010 c420 Team Race Nationals.
