Mids Place Sixth at Truxtun Umsted Regatta

Navy competes in two regattas last weekend.

As a Freshman: Mary competed in 16 events during her first year at Navy. She has proven herself as a strong competitor on the national level during this first year by receiving the honor of an Honorable Mention Women's All-American. She qualified and competed in the ICSA Women's Single Handed Nationals in Chicago, which she placed seventh. She helped qualify Navy's women's team to the Women's Dingy Nationals by placing second in A division at the MAISA Spring Women's. She went to Austin, Texas, to compete in the ICSA Women's Dingy Nationals and she placed fifth in A division in a very strong fleet as a freshmen skipper.

Prior to Navy: grew up in Seminole, Florida, and graduated from Seminole High School in 2011. She ran cross country all four years of high school, was an avid competitor in Seminole's All-Whistling Acapella Group and a member of Seminole High School's Future Liberals Of America Club. Sailed out of St. Petersburg and Clearwater.

Personal: Daughter of David and Sherry Hall. Has one older sister and two older brothers. Majoring in Operations Research.
