Hall Named MAISA Women's Sailor of the Year as Navy Qualifies for Women's Nationals

Mary Hall becomes a three-time MAISA Women's Sailor of the Year.

As a Sophomore: Hannah competed in 13 regattas her sophomore year as a skipper on both the Women’s and Coed Team. Hannah had four top-five finishes, including third place finish at Ocean County. Her fourth place finish in B division at Women’s Atlantic Coast Championships lead to the teams' overall win the Women’s Atlantic Coast Championships, leading to the women’s team ranked number one for the Fall Season.

As a Freshman: Hannah competed in 11 events during her first year at Navy as a skipper. Some of her top finishes include a 3rd place finish at the SUNY Open, a 3rd place finish at the Central Fall Number 2, and a 4th place finish at the Tom Noble Team Race.

Prior to Navy: Graduated from Clear Falls High School in 2013. Competed on the sailing team at Clear Falls and also participated in track and cross country. Sailing team won the 2013 SEISA Baker and Mallory Cup Qualifier. Member of the National Honor Society and student council. Daughter of Howard and Jill Hughes. Majoring in Ocean Engineering.
