Navy Sailing Places Second at Tom Noble Team Race

Squad fielded four teams in three different events.

As a Freshman: Julie competed in six events as a freshmen at Navy. She competed as a crew in coed sailing and team racing. Her memorable finishes include a first at the Arrigan Memorial Regatta, a first at the ODU Spring Open Regatta, and a second at the Admiral Moore Team Race.

Prior to Navy: Participated in cross country, water polo and swimming in high school. Graduated from Westlake High School in Southern California in 2009. Attended the University of Pennsylvania for two years before the academy. Grew up sailing thistles.

Personal: Daughter of Mark and Ann Miller with one brother Luke Miller. Majoring in Systems Engineering.
