As a Freshman: Max competed in 12 regattas as a skipper ... his best results were a third place finish in the Kings Point Dinghy Open and a third place finish in the Washington College Team Race.

Prior to Navy: Graduated from La Jolla High School in 2016 ... member of the high school swim team for four years, competed in City Championships with team twice ... participated on the Mission Bay Yacht Club Junior Board for five years, and served as Junior Commodore in 2015 ... two-time 29er National Champion and two-time Naples Sabot National Champion ... son of Mari and Larry Brill, brother of Ian Brill.
