Philip Youngberg
	Class: Sophomore Hometown: Coronado, Calif. Birthdate: 09/27/1991

As a Freshman: Philip competed in eight events during his first year at Navy. He proved to be extremely versatile by competing as a skipper for double handed and single handed as well as an extremely valuble member of the sloop team which won MAISA sloops to qualify for ICSA National Match Race. His memorable finishes include a fourth at the MAISA open, a first at MAISA Match Race, and a seventh in C division at the Trux Intersectional regatta at Navy.

Prior to Navy: Grew up in Coronado, Calif., and graduated from Coronado HS in 2010. Attended Prep School at Portsmouth Abbey School (USNA Foundation). Grew up sailing out of Coronado Yacht Club and sailed nationally and internationally in Lasers.

Personal: Son of Christina Youngberg and Brother of Chloe Youngberg. Majoring in History.
