ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Navy intercollegiate sailing team hit the road to three different away regattas last weekend. The furthest away and most consequential of the three was the MAISA Fall Women's Dinghy Championship at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, N.Y.. Navy finished fourth out of 13 teams to advance to the Women's Atlantic Coast Championship at Cornell University on November 16-17. Mary Hall and Layne Morrison finished fourth in A division while Marissa Lihan and Alex Asuncion were fourth in B.

Fordham University hosted the Jesuit Interconference Regatta in the Bronx, N.Y., where 16 teams battled in light and tricky conditions. Navy finished sixth overall, with Charlie Peck and Aly Eng coming in fifth in A division while Hannah Hughes and Glenn McKenna were eighth in B.

Closer to home, Navy also competed in the South #1 at St. Mary's College, finishing sixth overall out of 12. Phil Youngberg and Julia McKenna finished tenth in A division while Emma Ferris and Molly Hanson were fourth in B.
