Annapolis, Md. -- Due to extremely windy conditions that prevented the second day of competition at the Intrepid Trophy last weekend, no team claimed the overall win. Navy claimed the title in the Navy 44 fleet racing and St. Mary's won the Colgate 26 fleet racing.

Navy swept the fleet races on Saturday, as the A team snagged first place, the C team finished with the second-best point total and the B team finished with the third-best score. The Mids bested teams from Mass Maritime, St. Mary's, Kings Point, Michigan State and Western Michigan on the first day of competition. On Sunday, winds at 15 gusting to 30 knots limited the sailors to only one of the five scheduled rounds of match racing.
