Navy Offshore Sailing Competes in Annapolis Yacht Club Fall Series

ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Navy offshore sailing team had five boats competing the in the Annapolis Yacht Club Fall Series #1 this past weekend.
Bryan Weisburg skippered Allegiance to a first-place finish out of 16 boats in the J105 class while Phil Reynolds skippered Dreadnought to a 14th-place showing, also in the J105 class.
Peter Gibbons-Neff skippered NA22 Integrity to fourth (out of 14) in class PHRF A2 while Emily Frost skippered NA23 Defiance to fifth and Evan Berthold skippered NA24 Gallant to sixth place in the same class.
This coming weekend, the team will have two crews entered in the Storm Trysail Club Intercollegiate Invitational in Larchmont, N.Y. A combined offshore and intercollegiate crew will head to Rio de Janiero, Brazil, for the Regatta Escola Naval (Western Hemisphere Service Academy Invitational) and two crews will compete in Weekend #2 of the Annapolis Yacht Club Fall Series.
