SOPHOMORE (2016-17): As a second-year shooter for the Mids, Richardson appeared in 10 competitions ... posted a 567.1 smallbore average over 10 matches and a 572.9 air rifle average in nine ... his smallbore average improved by 12.3 points from his freshman campaign ... shot in the 570's in four smallbore matches with a career-high 577 coming at a tri-meet with The Citadel and North Carolina State on Oct. 29 ... notched matching career-best 581 scores in air rifle versus Army in the Star Match on Feb. 4 and versus John Jay in the NCAA Qualifier on Feb. 18

FRESHMAN (2015-16): 
In his first collegiate season, he appeared in 10 matches where he shot both guns … completed the year with a smallbore average of 554.8 and air rifle mark of 568.8 … closed the season with momentum as the southpaw shooter notched above-average smallbore scores between 555 and 567 in each of his last five matches, including a season-high 567 on Feb. 14 versus Nebraska … kept the same arc in air rifle with above-average efforts of 573 to 580 in each of the last four competitions … recorded a season-high 580 versus John Jay in the NCAA Qualifying Match on Feb. 20

Shot with the Queen Anne’s 4-H Marksmanship Club under the direction of current Navy assistant coach Lou MacKenzie and Penny Austin-Richardson … A member of Queen Anne’s back-to-back NRA Sectional championship teams in 2014 and 2015 … also a four-year letterwinner with Seaford High School’s varsity golf program … recognized as a All-County Second Team performer, as well as Seaford’s team MVP in 2014-15 after garnering honorable mention all-county and team MVP accolades in 2013-14

PERSONAL: Son of Steve and Penny … sister, Mekenna ‘19 is a member of the Jacksonville State rifle team, as is club teammate David Sink ‘19 … cousin Wyatt Richardson ’18 is a pitcher on the Milligan College (NAIA) baseball team … served as the president of both his senior class at Seaford and student council … member of the National Honor Society, as well as a Elks State scholar
