FRESHMAN (2011): Schmidt showed promise as a freshman, before an injury sidelined her midway through the season ... averaged a 565.0 in four smallbore events and a 576.5 in six air rifle events ... recorded a career-best 579 smallbore score against the University of the Sciences ... was over 560 in the MAC Tournament (567) and Army (564) ... was very consistent in air rifle, accumulating a 578 or better in five of her six matches ... fired a career-high 581 on day two of the MAC Tournament ... was also over 580 on day one of the MAC Tournament (580) and against the University of the Sciences (580) ... shot a pair of 578 against John Jay and Army.
