ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Mid-Atlantic Rifle Conference (MAC) has announced its individual awards for the 2012-13 season and a total of five Midshipmen were honored for their performances this year.

Senior captain Ryan Williams and junior Steven Frazier were named first-team all-conference in both smallbore and air rifle. Williams led Navy all year in air rifle and finished with a season average of 585.8. He also ranked second on the team this season in smallbore average at 569.9. Frazier led Navy in smallbore with a 577.9 season average and shot a career-high score of 583 in the President's Trophy match in November. Frazier's 580.7 average in air rifle was third best on the team.

Freshman Jodi Cull-Host also earned first-team all-conference accolades in air rifle. She averaged a 582.4 in 12 meets this season and shot a career best 590 in the discipline while competing in the event finals at the GARC Championships.

Cull-Host joined classmate Zach Gibson as a second-team all-conference selection in smallbore. She posted a season-average score of 565.9, while Gibson averaged a 566.6, which was good for third highest on the team.

Gibson and fellow freshman Shawn Cleary were also second-team all-conferences honorees in air rifle. Gibson averaged a 577.7 in the discipline as a rookie, while Cleary posted a season-average score of 571.4.

Cull-Host, Gibson and Cleary were also named to the MAC All-Rookie Team. The freshman trio competed in all 12 meets this season.

The Navy rifle team went 4-4 this past season and will return all but one shooter, Williams, next year.
