Bill Tolson Finishes 15th in 2001 NCAA Smallbore Rifle Individual Championship

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Bill Tolson (Jr./Oak Harbor, Wash.) placed 15th at the 2001 NCAA Smallbore Rifle Individual Championship in Columbus, Ohio Friday, shooting a 1136.

Matthew Emmons of Alaska-Fairbanks won the smallbore championship, shooting a 1178. Tolson will join George Adams (Sr./Pearl River, N.Y.), David Bachta (Sr./Colorado Springs, Colo.) and Scott Cohick (Sr./Oak Harbor, Wash.) to compete in the overall team smallbore championship Saturday.
