David Bachta Named Second-Team All-America by the NRA

ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- David Bachta (Jr./Colorado Springs, Colo.), team captain George Adams (Sr./Pearl River, N.Y.) and James Kauber (So./Burlington, Wash.) were named to the 2001 National Rifle Association Collegiate All-America Team announced Tuesday.

Bachta earned second-team honors in smallbore, shooting a season average 1,160. Adams and Kauber earned honorable mention in air rifle. Both shot a season average 385.

Bachta and Adams were part of the four-man smallbore team that represented Navy in the 2001 NCAA Rifle Championship in Columbus, Ohio last weekend. Navy finished in seventh place shooting a 4,553. Bachta shot a 1,149, while Adams posted a 1,144.
