ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Navy intercollegiate sailing team continues to pick up accolades after its outstanding performance all season and at last week's national championships in Wisconsin.

Senior Christina Chance, a native of Eastham, Mass., was named to the All-America crew for the second straight year after leading the team to a seventh-place finish at last week's ICSA Coed Dinghy Nationals. She also helped Navy to an appearance in the ICSA Women's National semifinals as well as a sixth-place finish in the ICSA Team Race Nationals. An outstanding student, Chance ranked 48th in the senior class in the Overall Order of Merit.

Junior Robert Vann, a Tampa, Fla., native, was named Honorable Mention All-American Coed Skipper for the second straight year. Vann played an integral part in all of Navy's success at nationals last weekend.

Navy cemented itself as one of sailing's top programs nationally with a pair of top 10 finishes at the national championships last week.
