The Mids will play their final match of the tournament Sunday vs. Western Ontario at 11:00 am.
The Mids will drop down to the consolation bracket where they will meet Bates on Saturday at 3:00 pm.
Navy owns a 16-14 series lead against the Big Red.
2015-16 (So.) — Put together a flawless 12-0 mark in varsity action, including three wins at the CSA Team Championship ... scored one of his biggest wins in Navy’s regular-season finale where he swept 11th-ranked Franklin & Marshall’s Ishan Advani ... earned a 3-1 win over John Bassett in the opening round of the CSA Team Championship, while also earning wins over Damuel Giddins of Middlebury in four games and F&M’s Advani in four games.
2014-15 (Fr.) — Earned an opportunity to play among the ladder after an injury sustained by classmate Jack Herold during the semester break ... produced a 6-6 mark playing both the No. 8 and 9 spots ... scored a 3-0 victory over Dickinson’s Jeff Chamberlin to mark his first collegiate win ... won a hard-fought five-game match against George Washington’s John Bassett during the regular season ... cruised past Jamie Havran from 13th-ranked Williams in a 6-3 win for the Mids ... came up short in his upset bid over Arjun Kochhar from fourth-ranked Yale where Kochhar won the fifth game, 12-10 ... made his debut at the CSA Team Championship where he went 1-2 with his lone win a 3-1 victory over Williams’ Havran.
High School — A 2014 graduate of Saint Ignatius College Prep in Chicago, Ill., McCartney lettered in lacrosse as a midfielder ... member of the National Honor Society and served as treasurer of the Entrepreneur Club.
