Sophomore (2016):
• Appeared in three games off the bench in pinch-hitting duty; later played first base vs. Delaware State (3/2) and caught at Bucknell (5/1)
• Drew a bases loaded walk at Bucknell on May 1 for an RBI
• Singled in a pinch-hitting opportunity at N.C. State (6/5) in the Raleigh Regional 

Freshman (2015):
• Appeared in 26 games and made 18 starts with 13 at first base, three on the mound as a starting pitcher and two at DH
• Strong and powerful option at first base or off the bench, he tied for team lead with two home runs; connected for a solo shot as a pinch hitter versus Delaware State (3/9) and again off the bench for a three-run blast at Lehigh (4/18)
• Reached base in nine consecutive games from March 9 to March 28; collected hits in six of those contests and totaled a .348 batting average (8-23)
• Earned the starting nod in the infield in all four games of the Princeton (3/21-22) and Bucknell (3/28-29) series
• As a pitcher, he appeared in seven games with three starts
• Began season with a 1.38 ERA over his first five contests (2 ER/13.0 innings), including three scoreless outings: 2.0 IP versus Coppin State (2/25), 1.0 IP versus Delaware State (3/4) and 4.0 IP in a start at UMBC (3/25)
• Struck out three batters on two occasions: Georgetown (3/18) and at UMBC (3/25)

• Four-year varsity letterwinner at Evangelical Christian School for Ryan Porter
• Helped lead ECS to 2AA Tennessee State Championships in 2011 and 2013
• Named to the All-State team as a senior in 2014
• Earned All-Metro and All-Region honors each year from 2012 through 2014
• Recognized on the Perfect Game All-Southeast Region honorable mention team in 2014
• Served as the baseball team captain
• Also lettered in football for three years as a linebacker and fullback

• Son of David and Laura
• Father, David, played football at Ole Miss from 1978 to 1982
• Enjoys both deer and duck hunting
• Participated in FCA, SLI and was the president of the Big Eagle Club at ECS
• Teammate of 2017 Minnesota Twin First Round Draft Pick and former Mississippi State OF Brent Rooker at Evangelical Christian School
