• Earned first-team all-county twice during his high school career

• Registered a .363 career batting average with 21 home runs and 86 RBIs, including a .503 on-base percentage
• Batted .391 with seven round-trippers, 15 RBIs and 17 walks during his senior year
• As a sophomore, he posted a .400 batting average and led Broward County with 12 home runs and 40 RBIs.
