High School:
• Attended Marin Catholic High School, where he earned three letters in baseball and one in football
• Named the 2009 Marin County Athletic League Player of the Year
• As a senior, he hit .433 (29-for-67) with three doubles, four triples, two home runs, 13 RBIs, 24 runs scored and a .547 on-base percentage
• On the bases in 2009, he swiped 30 bases in 31 tries
• Claimed first-team all-league honors as a junior and second-team all-league kudos as a sophomore
• Batted .351 (26-for-74) with 12 stolen bases in 2008 and hit .324 (24-for-74) in 2007
• For his career, he batted .367 (79-for-215) with nine doubles, five triples, three home runs, 31 RBIs, 55 runs scored and 46 stolen bases
• Helped his team to back-to-back league titles in 2007 and '08, followed by a league regular season crown in 2009
• Over his three years, the baseball team posted a combined record of 58-23-1, including a 41-10-1 mark in league play
