• Pitched and started 11 games on the hill for the second consecutive season
• Went 5-2 - tying Ben Nelson for the team lead in wins
• Posted a 5.46 ERA in 61.0 innings of work - second most on the team
• Struck out 34 and walked 26
• Went 2-0 in his first three starts of the season (2/21, 2/28, 3/6), pitching 6.0 innings and striking out four in all three games
• Improved to 3-0 in his fourth start by allowing just one run in 6.0 innings, while striking out three vs. Iona (3/15)
• Fanned a season-high five batters in consecutive starts vs. UMBC (3/27) and Lehigh (4/3)
• Went a season-high 6.2 innings in picking up the win against Lehigh (4/3)
• The 63 hits he allowed were the second fewest on the team among pitchers with at least seven starts
• Limited opponents to five or fewer hits in seven of his 11 starts
• Held opponents to a .268 batting average, the second-lowest average of any Patriot League pitcher that started at least 11 games

2009 (Freshman):
• Pitched and started in 11 games
• His 11 games started were the most among the Mids and fifth in the Patriot League
• Went 3-4 with a 7.22 ERA over 57.1 innings with 53 strikeouts, an average of 8.32 punchouts per nine innings
• Ranked among the Patriot League leaders in strikeouts (fifth) and ERA (17th)
• Struck out at least as many batters as innings pitched in six of his 11 starts
• Opponents were successful in only 6-of-10 stolen base attempts
• Induced a team-high five groundball double plays on the year
• In his first-career start against Pittsburgh (2/22), he fired 5.2 innings of two-hit, one-run ball with seven strikeouts to earn the win

• Attended Huffman-Hargrave High School, where he earned four letters in baseball and three in football

• Helped the baseball team to a district, area and regional championship with a 28-6 record in 2006
