Navy Welcomes Princeton For Seventh Straight Year
The Navy baseball team will host Princeton in the two program's annual March meeting in Annapolis. A final tune-up before Patriot League play, the teams have scheduled a four-game series every year since in 2008 ... This series with the Tigers will wrap up the Mids' 17-game season opening homestand ... Next week, Navy will travel to UMBC for a mid-week matchup on Wednesday before heading to Lewisburg, Pa. to take on the Bucknell Bison in the first weekend of Patriot League play.

SS Travis Blue has lead the group of first-year position players with a line of 19 GS, .294 batting average, 11 R, 10 RBI, 4 SB and .965 fielding percentage ... OF/DH Leland Saile has come on as of late and posted a .333 average over his last 8 games with 4 2B, 4 R and 8 RBI ... Behind the dish, C Nick Paglialonga and C Adrian Chinnery have started a combined 8 games and provided strong defense throughout.

On the mound, RHP Michael McCormick and RHP George Coughlin have garnered starting gigs over the past two weeks and provided the Mids with strong results.
