Baseball Closes Regular Season Schedule at Home on Wednesday

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Navy baseball team will play its final regular season game on Wednesday when it hosts George Washington at 4 p.m. at Terwilliger Brothers Field at Max Bishop Stadium. It will be the Mids' final tune-up prior to the Patriot League Tournament semifinal series, which begins May 11.

Kash Manzelli ranks in the top five in the Patriot League in several categories, including: hits (61, second), batting average (.341, fourth), runs (34, fourth) and RBIs (30, t-fourth).

• Dupell's 37 RBIs lead the Patriot League, while his 24 combined extra-base hits (18 doubles, three triples, three home runs) are also the most in the conference.

• The Navy pitching staff has a conference-best 3.80 ERA and is holding opponents to a .254 batting average, also tops in the league ... Navy has led the Patriot League in both categories all season.

• Currie and Milanes have both reached base safely in a team season-high 14 consecutive games.

• Navy was tabbed an honorable mention Team of the Week by after going 5-0 last week.
