AS A FRESHMAN
Brown appeared in 13 games as a freshman, averaging 1.8 ppg, 0.9 rpg and 0.4 spg in just 4.2 minutes per game scored a career-high seven points, including two three-pointers, with three rebounds, two steals and one assist in a win over Md.-Eastern Shore (Dec. 22) added four points and three rebounds against NJIT (Jan. 2) and four points against Bucknell (Jan. 11) dished out an assist against St. Francis (N.Y.), while scoring two points also scored two points with three rebounds against Longwood (Jan. 5) tallied his first career points on a breakaway dunk off a steal against Howard (Nov. 27) scored in seven straight games from Nov. 27 to Jan. 11 shot 40.9 percent (9-of-22).

Full name is Gregory Spencer Brown is right-handed born Sept. 11, 1988, in Washington, D.C. son of Gary and Charmaine Brown was a high school teammate of West Virginia's John Flowers, and played on the same team and against several other Division I prospects his cousins, Justin Brown and Terry Marbury, played football at Morgan State and Bowie State, respectively was the Writing Association of Black Journalists scholarship recipient while interning at CBS and ABC News majoring in political science.
