As a Junior
Harris was named second-team All-Patriot League for the second straight year after averaging 15.4 ppg (3rd in league) and connecting on 85 three-pointers (2nd most in school history) ... surpassed the 1,000-point mark for his career in the Patriot League Tournament against Colgate ... was named Patriot League Player of the Week on Dec. 30 ... scored career-high 30 points with eight three-pointers against nationally-ranked and Final Four-bound Villanova ... the eight three-pointers were the third most in school history and tied for the most ever against Villanova ... connected on at least three three-pointers 17 times in 2008-09 ... played every minute of Navy's triple-overtime win over William & Mary, registering a school-record 55 minutes of action ... went over 20 points seven times during the season ... shot 88.5 percent from the free throw line in Patriot League play, and had two different streaks of 24 and 23 consecutive free throws made ... excelled in crunch time, where he made 92.9 percent (52-of-56) of his free throws in the final four minutes and overtime ... is the first player in school history to reach 1,000 points and 200 assists by the end of his junior season.
As a Sophomore
Harris had an outstanding season, en route to All-Patriot League second-team honors, averaging 14.5 ppg, 3.7 apg, 2.6 rpg and 1.9 spg, while starting all 30 games ... saw his averages increase to 17.6 ppg, 3.9 apg, 3.5 rpg and 2.0 spg in 14 Patriot League games ... his 11.0-point improvement from one year to the next was the third-best jump for a single player nationally ... was named the team's Most Improved Player at the season-ending banquet ... was the only player in the Patriot League to rank in the top 10 of eight different categories ... connected on a school-record 91 three-pointers ... just three sophomores in school history (Vernon Butler, David Robinson and John Clune) scored more points than Harris ... had 25 double-figure scoring performances including 17 straight to end the season ... recorded a league-best 1.46 assist-to-turnover ratio during the Patriot League slate ... was one of five players in school history to record 400 points with 100 assists in a season ... over the last 21 games, Harris averaged 17.3 ppg and 4.0 apg, while connecting on 80-of-181 (.442) of his three-point attempts.
As a Freshman
Harris had a strong freshman season, being one of seven players to play in all 30 games ... drew starts against NJIT and the Patriot League opener against Bucknell, and averaged 12.9 mpg ... scored at a 3.5 ppg clip, grabbed 1.4 rpg and dished out 1.2 apg ... led the team with a 1.30 assist-to-turnover ratio, which would have ranked third in the Patriot League ... recorded double-digit scoring games against Stony Brook (21 points; Nov. 19) and Bucknell (12 points; Feb. 2) ... connected on 7-of-10 shots (5-of-8 from three-point range) against the Seawolves ... also added four rebounds and four assists in just 27 minutes against Stony Brook ... was named Patriot League Rookie of the Week on Nov. 20, after averaging 15.0 ppg, 3.0 rpg and 3.5 apg in just 23.0 mpg in two games during the week ... started the year shooting 21-of-38 (.553) from the field and 14-of-27 (.519) from three-point range in the first seven games, averaging 8.4 ppg ... tallied 12 points on four three-pointers in a nationally-televised contest against Bucknell (Feb. 2).
Spent a year at powerhouse Fork Union Military Academy, after lettering four times at Benedictine High School ... averaged 12.0 ppg and 5.0 apg at Fork Union in 2005-06, and is the first player in almost 30 years from Fork Union to play at Navy ... while at Benedictine, Harris led the school to a combined 70-22 record over the last three years and the 2003 and 2004 Virginia State Catholic Championships ... in 2003, Benedictine also won the Virginia Independent State Championship ... was the 2004 MVP of the State Catholic Tournament and 2005 team captain, defensive player of the year and earned a spot on the Benedictine Capital City Classic all-tournament team ... was a member of National Honor Society and served as the editor-in-chief of the school newspaper.
