As a Freshman (2002-03)
Played in 27 of the 28 games, making his debut in the season opener against UCF (Nov. 22) ... one-of-four freshmen to see action during the 2002-03 campaign ... averaged 2.9 points and 1.7 boards a game ... one of the Mids' stronger free throw shooters, knocked down 74.2 percent (23 for 31) of his free throws ... posted back-to-back career-high scoring efforts (at that time) with five points at Coastal Carolina (Dec. 7) and eight vs. Gettysburg (Dec. 14) ... shot 57.1 percent against Gettysburg, making four of his seven shots, while dealing out a career-high tying three assists ... grabbed a then career-high five rebounds against Ohio (Dec. 20) in his home state ... had a strong effort at Air Force (Jan. 4), scoring six points and matching that in rebounds ... equalled his career high in rebounds with six against Bucknell (Jan. 18) in just 13 minutes of play ... swatted three Holy Cross (Jan. 24) shots, the first-three blocks of his collegiate career ... added seven points and two assists in that contest ... scored seven of Navy's 17 points in its 17-6 run at the end of the first half in the Colgate contest (Jan. 26) ... grabbed a career-high three steals against the Raiders ... produced a then career-high nine points against American (Feb. 12) ... joined fellow freshmen David Hooper and Adam Lane to score 37 of Navy's 61 points against the Eagles.
