HIGH SCHOOL: Alexander had an outstanding career, lettering four times at Radford High School before graduating in 2011 ... spent the last year at The Hill School in Pottstown, Pa. ... led the Radford basketball team to the 2011 (senior) and 2009 (sophomore) state championships ... team also won four district championships (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011) ... while at Radford, he served as a two-time team captain, was the 2011 state title game MVP and was an all-district performer as a senior after being a second-team selection as a junior ... as a senior at Radford in the district finals with the game tied at 60, Alexander scored 11 straight points, grabbed every defensive rebound and blocked two shots in the final 2:20 that helped seal the victory, finishing with 23 points and 17 rebounds against EastMont ... averaged 12.3 points per game and 5.1 rebounds per game at The Hill School, including a dominating 20-point, 12-rebound performance against the Navy JV team ... in that game, he drained three three-pointers and threw down an emphatic dunk to seal the victory ... shot 47 percent from the field and 39 percent from three-point range in his one year at The Hill School.
