ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Several promotions have been planned for Saturday's nationally-televised men's basketball game between Navy and Bucknell, tipping off at 5:00 pm in Alumni Hall. It will be the Patriot League opener for both teams, and will be broadcast by ESPNU.

The Zooperstars will be the headlining promotion, as the group will perform at halftime. The Zooperstars are described as a lovable, outrageous, zany, unpredictable, hysterical, incredible and unbelievable group that has made many appearances on national media outlets, including ESPN, ESPN2, CNN Headline News, Fox SportsNet, the NBC Today Show and America's Got Talent. The creators and performers of this completely unique show have a combined total of 80 years of entertainment experience and have performed for over 30 million fans in the United States, Canada, Italy, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Taiwan and Japan.

In addition, the Navy men's basketball alumni game will be played at 2:00 pm in Alumni Hall and the players will then be honored at halftime of the Navy-Bucknell game that night. The game will feature such former stars as Michael Heary, Brian Walker, Skip Victor, Greg Sprink, Matt Sladky and Kylor Whitaker, and nearly 40 former players will be in attendance.

The Officers and Faculty Club will host a pregame Happy Hour from 3-5 pm, featuring cocktails and free snacks. The Officers and Faculty Club is located adjacent to Alumni Hall right next to the upper parking lot.

Other promotions for the game include ticket discounts for emergency services personnel, high school basketball teams and volunteers involved in the Big Brothers and Big Sisters program. For information on these ticket promotions, please call 410-293-8711.

As for every Navy home basketball game, a free shuttle will be provided that will leave from the west side of the football stadium, beginning at 3:00 pm and lasting until approximately 8:00 pm. The shuttle will drop fans off right at the front door of Alumni Hall. Parking is $5 at the football stadium. Fans should enter the stadium parking lot through Gate 5 on Taylor Avenue.
