The Gold team will feature seven players from the 1994 NCAA Tournament team that will be back for its 20-year reunion. That team will be honored at halftime of the men’s basketball game against Holy Cross.
Navy went 17-13 in 1994 and finished 9-5 in the Patriot League. The Mids started that season 5-10, but finished the year winning 12 of its final 15 games after head coach Don DeVoe inserted freshman point guard Brian Walker into the line-up.
After starting 0-3 in the Patriot League, Navy won nine of its final 11 conference games to finish in a four-way tie for first place. Navy defeated Army (96-84), Holy Cross (93-91 in overtime) and Colgate (78-76) to win the Patriot League Tournament before falling to Missouri (76-53) in the NCAA Tournament.

Also playing for the Gold will be Jim Savard (’65), Quintrell McCreary (’03) and Josh Height (’98), who played in the 1997 and 1998 NCAA Tournament teams.
