Vote for Tom Lacey in the Dark Horse Dunker Contest
ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Navy men's basketball forward Tom Lacey is one of 16 seniors in the country competing for a spot in the College Slam Dunk Championship through the Dark Horse Dunker contest. For the eighth consecutive year, the final spot for the College Slam Dunk Championship will be reserved for the winner of the Dark Horse Dunker contest.
The Dark Horse Dunker contest is designed to find the country's most electric under-the-radar player with hops and creativity that belongs on the national stage, via a fan vote.
The College Slam Dunk Championship will take place in San Antonio, Texas over Final Four weekend on Thursday, March 29, 2018 and will air live on ESPN2 on 9 PM (ET).
Lacey is facing Iona's TK Edogi in the Round of 16 and voting for the opening round will run from Feb. 13-20.
If Lacey advances past Edogi in the Round of 16, he will then be up for quarterfinal voting from Feb. 21-28. The semifinals will run from March 1-8 and the final round will be held from March 9-16. The winner will be announced on March 16th.
Reminder, fans will only be able to vote once per day, per device. If you have a tablet, smart phone, laptop and desktop, you can vote on all of those, once per day. There is an IP limit, so if you go to vote in a computer lab, or somewhere where all computers are on the same IP address, there will be a limit. Once the clock hits 12:01 am, that will reset and you will be able to vote again for that day.
