SECURITY REGULATIONS
Fans are reminded that only those vehicles with a Department of Defense sticker affixed to it will be allowed to drive onto the grounds of the USNA. All other visitors to The Yard have the option of either finding parking in downtown Annapolis and walking through the Academy's gates, or else parking at nearby Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium's blue side ($5 per vehicle) and riding the free shuttle bus to and from Alumni Hall.
GAMEDAY PROMOTIONS
Football Team Autograph Session - Members of Navy football team will be signing autographs from 6-7:00 pm in the concourse of the Alumni Hall.
Bring your "A" Game Night - All youth 12 and under can receive FREE Admission to the game by showing an A on a graded assignment from their school! Bring the assignment to the ticket window at Alumni Hall to get your free ticket!
Scout Night - All area Scouts and their guests get in to the game for only $3 a person when the scout wears their uniform to the game. All scouts will also receive a special Navy Basketball Scout Patch!
THE GAME
The Navy men's basketball team will play at home on a weekend for the final time during the 2011-12 season when it hosts Colgate on Saturday night at Alumni Hall beginning at 7:00 pm. The Midshipmen enter the contest with a 3-22 overall mark (0-11 Patriot League) while Colgate is 7-19 (1-10 Patriot League). The game can be heard on WNAV (1430 AM, 99.9 FM, wnav.com) and SIRIUS Satellite Radio (Channel 137) with Pete Medhurst and Michael Heary handling the call courtside beginning with the Navy Basketball pregame show at 6:45 pm (ET). All-Access subscribers can watch the game online as part of the Navy and Patriot League All-Access packages. As always, fans can receive text message updates via Navy's official athletics Twitter page (@NavyAthletics).
ABOUT COLGATE
Colgate enters the game as losers of 14 of its last 16 games and its lone league win came over Navy, 65-54, in overtime in Hamilton, N.Y., on Jan. 21. The Raiders started the year 5-5, but have since gone just 2-14. Over the last three games, Colgate has been outscored by a total of 56 points in losses to Bucknell, Lehigh and Army. The Raiders are paced by sophomore Pat Moore at 10.1 ppg. Senior guard Mike Venezia averages 9.8 ppg and six other players average at least 5.4 ppg.
THE SERIES
Colgate leads the series, 26-24, but Navy has won five of the last eight meetings dating back to 2008-09 season. Six of the 50 previous meetings, including three of the last six, have gone into overtime, the most overtime games against one opponent. Since Navy joined the Patriot League in 1991-92, Colgate is 25-21 against the Midshipmen.
