Vote for Tom Lacey in the Dark Horse Dunker Semifinals
ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Voting is now open for Dark Horse Dunker semifinal round, where Navy men’s basketball senior Tom Lacey is facing Arkansas Tech’s Montrell Williams. The final spot for the 2018 College Slam Dunk Championship will be awarded to the winner of the Dark Horse Dunker fan vote contest.
Voting for the semifinal round is open now through Thursday, March 8 at 1:00 PM (ET) at www.darkhorsedunker.com. Fans can vote once per day, per device. If you have a tablet, smart phone, laptop and desktop, you can vote on all of those, once per day.
The Dark Horse Dunker contest is designed to find the country's most electric under-the-radar player with hops and creativity that belongs on the national stage, via a fan vote.
The College Slam Dunk Championship will take place in San Antonio, Texas over Final Four weekend on Thursday, March 29, 2018 and will air live on ESPN2 on 9:00 PM (ET).
Lacey previously advanced past Iona’s TK Edogi in the Round of 16, 62% to 38%, and he advanced past Oklahoma City University’s Walter Rickett in the quarterfinal round, 51% to 49%.
The semifinal winners will face in the Dark Horse Dunker final from March 9-16. Elon’s Dmitri Thompson is facing Purchase College’s Max Pearce in the other semifinal matchup.
