Navy Men's Basketball to Offer Hoops Clinics

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Navy men's basketball program has announced that registration is now open for a pair of 'Midshipman Hoops Clinics' this spring. Navy will be hosting clinics for boys and girls grades K through 7 on Tuesday, April 15 and Tuesday, May 6.
These one-day clinics are coed and will include skill instruction for children grades K through 7. Fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting, teamwork, and playing games will take place. There will also be contests, prizes awarded and autographs. This is a great night of basketball spent with the Navy coaches and players. A great way for young kids to be introduced to the game of basketball and have FUN learning the FUNdamentals!
Both one-day clinics will be held in Halsey Field House at the U.S. Naval Academy from 6 pm to 9 pm with registration being from 5:15 pm to 6 pm. The cost is $50 per child per clinic.
Third-year Navy men's basketball head coach Ed DeChellis, the Navy basketball coaching staff and members of the Navy basketball team will be conducting the clinics.
