and the Navy men's basketball program have announced a full slate of camps and clinics for the upcoming spring and summer. All camps will be conducted at the U.S. Naval Academy and there is a camp or clinic for every age and skill level.

Elite Skill Overnight Camp
Ages: Boys, Grades 9-12
Dates: Thursday, June 19 - Friday, June 20, 2014
Registration: 3 p.m. - 4 p.m. at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium; first meeting at 4:45 p.m. at Halsey Field House - Dressed to play.
Dismissal: Friday, June 20, 3:30 p.m. at Halsey Field House; Shuttle will drop off at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium

Our Elite Skill Camp is made up of young men (grades 9-12) who play competitive basketball at a high level and wish to advance their skill set. Our experienced staff will incorporate drills and techniques we use with our players at the Naval Academy, focusing on the importance of fundamentals. Advanced team concepts, offensive and defensive strategy, and position-specific drills will also be incorporated in three-on-three instructional sessions and five-on-five practice and games. We believe your son will grow as a player and also be able to spend time with young men who possess similar goals and dreams of playing in high school, college and beyond.

Midshipman Hoops Clinic
Ages: Boys & Girls, Grades K - 7
Dates: Tuesday, April 15, 2014, or Tuesday, May 6, 2014
Time: 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Registration: 5:15 p.m. - 6 p.m. at Halsey Field House
Dismissal: 9 p.m. at Halsey Field House
This one-day clinic is coed and will include skill instruction for children grades K through 7. Fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting, teamwork, and playing games will take place. There will also be contests, prizes awarded, and autographs. This is a great night of basketball spent with the Navy coaches and players. A great way for young kids to be introduced to the game of basketball and have FUN learning the FUNdamentals!
Skill / Shooting Camp
Ages: Boys & Girls, Grades 1 - 12
Dates: Monday, June 23 - Wednesday, June 25, 2014
Time: 6 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Registration: 5 p.m. - 5:45 p.m. at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium
Dismissal: 8:30 p.m. at Halsey Field House
This camp is open to both boys and girls and will cover basic fundamentals of shooting and individual skill improvement. Designed to help players of all skill levels improve and gain a better understanding of shooting, passing, and dribbling the basketball. Our coaching staff and players will work closely with each camper in an enthusiastic environment. Space is limited due to a high level of individual instruction for each camper, so sign up early!

Dates: Monday, July 28 - Thursday, July 31, 2014
Time: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. (Awards Ceremony on Thursday at 3:15 p.m.)

Your son will learn fundamental skills in a very positive and enthusiastic environment that will help guide him towards reaching his maximum potential. A typical day of camp will include: stations, contests, 3-on-3 games, 5-on-5 league games, and lectures from the Navy basketball staff. Fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork will be covered during station work. Lunch will be provided daily in King Hall. These will be four days of non-stop basketball in a fun and safe atmosphere. The Camp Store will provide snacks, drinks, and apparel that can be purchased.

Navy Basketball Shootout (Team Overnight Camp)
Dates: June 14-15
All Teams require a minimum of eight players and a maximum of 10 per game.
Price: $900 per overnight team and $800 per commuter team
Quality instruction provided by Navy Men's Basketball coaching staff, with the assistance of current and former collegiate players.
High level of team competition. Teams will be placed into divisions based on ability level/size.
A minimum four guaranteed games per team.
Certified officials provided for all games.
Chalk talk for coaches with Navy basketball staff on Saturday night.
Room and board included (for overnight teams).
Saturday lunch and dinner included for commuter teams.
Sunday breakfast provided for overnight teams.
