Pair of Mids Earn Spots on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll
Kevin Alter sported the league's sixth-best GPA during the spring semester (3.81).

ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Navy men's basketball team landed two student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced recently.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average during the semester of their sport's championship. Rising senior Brennan Wyatt (Greensboro, N.C.) and rising junior Kevin Alter (Rumson, N.J.) were Navy's representatives on the Academic Honor Roll for head coach Ed DeChellis.
The eight Patriot League schools placed a total of 40 representatives on the list. Alter led the Navy pair with a 3.81 GPA while majoring in economics during the spring semester. Wyatt recorded a 3.39 GPA during the spring in oceanography. Alter's 3.81 GPA was the league's sixth highest during the spring semester.
Both Alter and Wyatt earned their first Patriot League Academic Honor Roll honor.
Navy will return 12 letterwinners, all five starters and almost 98.0 percent of its scoring for the upcoming 2013-14 campaign.
