Connolly Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Recent Navy graduate Ted Connollyhas been named to the Patriot League men's basketball Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced recently. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 GPA in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
Connolly, a native of Wexford, Pa., registered a 3.27 GPA in History to earn the accolade for the second time, also earning the award following his sophomore season (2010). On the court this past winter, Connolly appeared in 19 games with seven starts, all coming during Patriot League play. He averaged 0.7 ppg, 0.6 rpg and dished out nine assists with eight steals against just seven turnovers in 134 minutes of action. He tallied a career-high three points with two steals against Lehigh on Senior Night and logged a career-best 25 minutes against Norfolk State on New Year's Day, tallying two points with three rebounds, three assists and two steals.
