ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Four home games, including a three-game homestand surrounding Thanksgiving, highlight the 2013-14 Navy men's basketball non-conference schedule head coach Ed DeChellis announced today. The Mids will tip off their season on November 8 at Towson, opening the Tigers' new facility, Tiger Arena.

The Mids' schedule features several local rivalries including Virginia, UMBC, UMES and Towson, while completing home-and-home series with Binghamton, Bryant and Northern Kentucky. Navy will begin a series with The Citadel this season.

"We are excited about our non-conference schedule and feel that it is a good mix of teams on it. Several of the teams had strong campaigns a year ago and are improving, so it will be another challenging slate for us," said Navy's third-year head coach Ed DeChellis. "This will provide us an excellent opportunity to see where we stand heading into league play and will prepare us for the challeges the Patriot League provides."

Season single-game tickets will be available for purchase at or by calling 1-800-US4-NAVY in the coming weeks.
