Saturday's Game Basics
Navy and Northern Kentucky will meet for the second time in the last two years on Saturday at the Bank of Kentucky Center at 12:00 PM (ET). Navy (5-4) is coming off a 90-80 overtime loss at Bryant last Saturday and Northern Kentucky (3-7) is coming off a 69-67 overtime win over Hampton on Wednesday.
Saturday's game is Northern Kentucky's Military Appreciation Day presented by the Kentucky National Guard. There will be free admission for all veterans and those with military ID. There will be $1 admission for family and guests accompanying military members. The game is part of a doubleheader, preceding the Northern Kentucky-Ball State women's basketball game at 2:30 PM.
In addition, Lieutenant Commander John Hiltz, a native of Fort Mitchell, Ky. and a member of the Blue Angels, will be in attendance. Hiltz is also a Covington Catholic High School graduate.

Navy is coming off a 90-80 overtime loss at Bryant last Saturday.
The loss snapped a three-game winning streak.
Freshman Zach Fong set a Navy freshmen record with seven three pointers made against Bryant.
Fong was 7-of-10 on three pointers and scored a season-best 21 points.
Sophomore guard Tilman Dunbar had 14 points and nine assists at Bryant and junior forward Worth Smith (14) and sophomore guard Kendall Knorr (12) also scored in double figures.
Smith had a career-high four blocks at Bryant.
Sophomore center Will Kelly had 10 rebounds for the second time this season at Bryant.
Dunbar is leading Navy in points per game (12.2) and assists per game (5.1).
Dunbar ranks third in the Patriot League in assists per game (5.1) and is averaging 7.7 assists in his last three contests.
Both Dunbar and Smith have scored in double figures in four straight games.
Smith is second on the team in scoring (11.2) and rebounding (5.2).
Kelly leads the team in rebounding (6.7), while ranking fourth in the conference. He is also second in the Patriot League in blocked shots per game (1.9).
Knorr ranks third in the Patriot League in free-throw percentage (.905).
Navy leads the Patriot League in total rebounds per game (38.2) and rebounding margin (+3.4).
Navy is 4-0 at home this season, which is the best start to its home schedule since 2008-09 when it won its first seven home games and posted a 12-3 home record.
Navy has made at least one three-pointer in 314 consecutive games.
Navy has an all-time record of 1,311-968 (.576).
Northern Kentucky Storylines
Northern Kentucky (3-7) has won two straight games, defeating Chattanooga (87-71) on Sunday and Hampton (69-67) in overtime on Wednesday.
Junior college transfer Jordan Jackson hit a game-winning jumper from the top of the key in overtime against Hampton with just 0.9 seconds remaining.
Jackson scored 13 points in the last five minutes of regulation and in overtime.
Jackson finished with 21 points against Hampton and he is the Norse's leading scorer (14.8 ppg).
Jackson routinely gets to the free-throw line and he was 11-of-17 against Hampton.
On the season, Jackson is 42-of-70 from the free-throw line for a .600 percentage.
Jackson spent the last two years at Williston State Junior College in North Dakota.
Tyler White is second on the team with 10.3 points per game.
Jalen Billups is averaging 8.1 points. Billups was the team's top returning scorer (10.3) from last season.
NKU opened the season at 0-4 and was 1-7 before winning its last two games.
NKU was 11-16 last season overall and tied for fourth in the Atlantic Sun at 9-9 in its first year at the Division I level.
NKU is still going through a transition stage and will be a full NCAA Division I member in 2016.

Navy and Northern Kentucky are meeting for the second time in series history.
Northern Kentucky defeated Navy, 55-46, in Annapolis on December 22, 2012.
The Norse shot 50.0 percent from the floor and overcame a nine-point Navy first-half lead.
Forward Jalen Billups scored 14 points on 7-of-7 shooting and pulled down a game-high nine rebounds.
Forward Ernest Watson had 19 points and guard Eshaunte Jones had 13 points and seven assists last year, but both players have graduated.
Navy's Tilman Dunbar had 12 points and Brandon Venturini tallied 11 points.
