Princeton Bests Navy in Heavyweight Season Opener

Tigers win Navy-Princeton Cup; Mids take fifth varsity competition

At Navy:
• 2016: Competed with fifth varsity eight in all six regular season events and the Eastern Sprints before racing with freshmen eight at IRA Championship 

Prior to Navy:
• Competed with the soccer and track & field teams at the Trinity Christian School, earning four varsity letters for each sport
• Ran the 800-meter for NAPS during the 2014-15 school year
• Garnered the Coach’s Award for track as a senior at TCS in 2012

• Son of Steven and Beverly
• Three brothers competed in DI track & field and cross country: Andrew at Navy, Jared at Seton Hall and Josiah at Duke
• Brother, Aaron Hanko graduated from the Naval Academy in 2011
• Prior enlisted in the United States Navy before going to NAPS and later the Naval Academy beginning in 2015-16.
