Lightweight Crew Places Third at Princeton Chase

Navy's lightweight crew team placed third in the varsity eight race at Sunday's Princeton Chase Regatta.

The Mids completed the course in a time of 13:05.54, less than two seconds behind second-place Princeton. Navy's two other entries in the race placed eighth (13:19.29) and 20th (13:58.72).

In the lightweight four race, Navy placed eighth (14:59.57), 11th (15:11.26), 19th (15:29.08) and 22nd (15:33.96).

The Princeton Chase concluded the fall season for the varsity team.

"We had a fantastic day of racing," said Navy head coach Rob Friedrich. "It was a good way to end the fall portion of our season."
