Navy Announces 2009 Spring Football Practice Schedule

With 13 returning starters and 27 returning letterwinners off a team that won a sixth-straight Commander-In-Chief's Trophy, made a sixth-straight appearance in a bowl game and won an NCAA record fourth-consecutive rushing title, second-year head coach Ken Niumatalolo is excited to put his team through spring drills.
Spring practice will start Monday, March 23, at 4:00 p.m., and will take place every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday for the first three weeks and Tuesday, Thursday and Friday for the final week.
The Mids will scrimmage Saturday, April 4 at the Naval Academy and on Saturday, April 11 at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Both scrimmages will start at 9:30 a.m. The annual Blue-Gold game will take place Friday, April 17 at 7 p.m. at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.
