ANNAPOLIS, Md.-For the fourth-consecutive year, the Naval Academy Athletic Association has set a school record for season tickets sold. To date, there have been over 23,000 season tickets sold for the 2008 football season. The previous record was 22,634 season tickets, which was set last year. Over the past six years, Navy has increased football season ticket sales by more than 150 percent.

"We are all extremely appreciative of the incredible support Navy Football is realizing through our friends and fans in the community," said Naval Academy Director of Athletics Chet Gladchuk. "Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium on a beautiful fall afternoon is as good as it gets. The pageantry and excitement of Navy Football is contagious."

A limited number of season tickets are still available for purchase by visiting www.navysports.com or by calling 1-800-US4-NAVY. Season tickets are $222 for the five home games at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium and the Notre Dame game at M&T Bank Stadium. Buying a season ticket is the only way to secure a seat for the Rutgers or Pitt games. Single-game buyers are being assigned standing-room-only for those two games. All other single-game tickets for games played at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium are available for $32.
