Offensive Player of the Week
Keenan Reynolds – U.S. Naval Academy
Freshman, Quarterback, Antioch, Tenn.
Reynolds led Navy from nine points down in the final 12:18 to knock off Indiana 31-30. It was Navy's first win over a Big Ten opponent since 1979. Reynolds hit Matt Aiken with a four-yard TD pass with 2:02 left to tie the game. Reynolds rushed for 66 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries and completed eight of his 13 pass attempts for 96 yards and a touchdown.
Defensive Player of the Week
Jordan Drake – U.S. Naval Academy
Sophomore, Outside Linebacker, Douglasville, Ga.
Drake recorded eight tackles and intercepted a pass and returned it 24 yards for a touchdown in Navy's 31-30 victory over Indiana. Drake's interception came with Navy down 17-7 in the second quarter and kept the Mids in the game, setting up Reynolds' heroics.
Special Teams Player of the Week
Nick Sloan – U.S. Naval Academy
Freshman, Kicker, San Diego, Calif.
Freshman kicker Nick Sloan made all four extra-points, including the game-winner with 2:02 left in the game and made his only field goal attempt from 18 yards out in the fourth quarter to cut Indiana's lead to six in Navy's 31-30 victory over the Hoosiers. Sloan is one of two kickers in the country that has yet to miss a kick this year (field goal or PAT).
