Freshman Quarterback Keenan Reynolds Named NAAA Athlete Of The Week Presented By Rolls Royce

Freshman quarterback Keenan Reynolds has been named the Naval Academy Athletic Association Athlete of the Week presented by Rolls Royce.
Reynolds accounted for 306 yards of total offense and three touchdowns to lead Navy to a 24-17 victory over Florida Atlantic. The victory was the sixth of the year for the Mids (6-3) and put Navy in a bowl game for the ninth time in the last 10 years. Navy is 4-0 with Reynolds as the starting quarterback.
Reynolds rushed for a career-high 159 yards and one touchdown on 26 carries and threw for a career-high 147 yards and two touchdowns, completing eight of his 15 passes against the Owls.
Navy travels to Troy, Ala. on Saturday for a 3:30 PM game that will be broadcast by ESPN3 and the Navy Radio Network. The Mids return home next Saturday for the regular season finale and Senior Day against Texas State at 3:30 PM.
