Malcolm Perry Named American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly football honors for Week 11 of the college football season.
Malcolm Perry • So. • QB • Navy • Clarksville, Tenn.
Perry set the American Athletic Conference single-game rushing record in his first career start as a quarterback, helping Navy to a 43-40 win against SMU to help the Midshipmen gain bowl eligibility for the sixth straight season. Perry rushed for 282 yards and four touchdowns on 33 carries to break The American’s previous single-game mark of 275 yards, set by USF’s Marlon Mack against Western Carolina Aug. 31, 2014. Perry also was chosen as the Walter Camp National Offensive Player of the Week.
Rae Juan Marbley • Sr. • LB • Tulane • Destrehan, La.
Marbley had a team-high 12 tackles, with two tackles for loss and two quarterback hurries, in Tulane’s 31-24 overtime win at ECU and was instrumental in the Green Wave’s goal-line stand to clinch the game.  He registered three tackles in overtime, including two stops inside the 3-yard line on the final series.
Isaiah Wright • So. • WR • Temple • West Hartford, Conn.
Wright finished with 154 all-purpose yards in Temple’s 35-24 win at Cincinnati, including a 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the third quarter after the Bearcats had closed to within six points. Wright capped the touchdown by throwing for a successful two-point conversion to give Temple a 28-14 lead.

Had nine tackles with a forced fumble in a 49-24 win against UConn.
McKenzie Milton • So. • QB • UCF • Kapulei, Hawaii
Completed 24 of 36 passes for 311 yards and two touchdowns in a 49-24 win against UConn.
Ben Hicks • So. • QB • SMU • Waco, Texas
Completed 16 of 29 passes for 261 yards and four touchdowns in a 43-40 loss at Navy.
David Hood • Sr. • Jr • Temple • Galloway, NJ.
Rushed for a career-high 108 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries in a 35-24 win at Cincinnati.
Dontrell Hilliard • Sr. • RB • Tulane • Baton Rouge, La.
Rushed for a career-high 189 yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries in a 31-24 overtime win at ECU.
