Keenan Reynolds Named NAAA Athlete Of The Week Presented By Rolls Royce

Sophomore quarterback Keenan Reynolds was name the NAAA Athlete of the Week presented by Rolls Royce for his performance against San Jose State.  Reynolds carried the ball 36 times for 240 yards and seven touchdowns, while completing 4-6 passes for 46 yards and a touchdown in Navy's 58-52 triple overtime victory over San Jose State.  The seven rushing touchdowns is an NCAA record for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback.  His eight total touchdowns sets a Navy school record. Reynolds also became the fourth player in school history to rush for 1,000 and pass for 1,000 yards in a single-season and he now has 26 rushing touchdowns on the season, which leads the country for all players and is just one off the NCAA record for most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in NCAA history.  On Reynolds final five carries of the game he rushed for 82 yards and three touchdowns.  He had 25 yard touchdown runs on the first play of the first overtime and first play of the third overtime, which was the game-winner.
