2011-12 (Fr.) -- Garnered Second-Team All-Patriot League recognition in his rookie season after placing sixth at the conference championship and leading the Midshipmen to the Patriot League title ... produced a 76.4 stroke average among the 12 events in which he competed, the team's fourth-lowest stroke average on the year ... quickly made his mark at the Academy after winning the season-opening Navy Fall Classic with a 4-under par 138 ... he is just the second Navy golfer to win the Navy Fall Classic, joining All-American Billy Hurley, and the first Navy rookie to take medalist honors at the event ... additionally, he is the first golfer in program history to win the first collegiate event in which he competed ... pitched three top-10 performances on the year and four top-20 marks ... placed seventh at the Rehoboth Beach Invitational after carding a 1-over par 143 ... finished just outside of the top 10 in 13th with a 31-over par 247 at the Service Academy Classic ... his 8-over par 221 was the second-lowest mark by a freshman at the Patriot League Championship and tied for the sixth-best mark of the tournament, alongside teammate Peter Reilly ... placed 63rd at the NCAA Regional at the U-M Golf Course in Ann Arbor where he shot a 26-over par 239.
