Princeton, N.J. - Following a two-round score 12-over 298, Navy men's golf is currently 13th at the Princeton Invitational Saturday. Senior Drew Selby (Charlotte, N.C.) had a team-best 144 after two rounds and is tied-for 20th.

"The guys played hard through the first two rounds," Head coach Pat Owen said. "The golf course features small, sloping greens that require precision iron play and putting. The guys are looking to improve their scores tomorrow."

Navy began the invitational with a 12-over par 296 and finished the second round with the same score of 12-over par 296.

Selby led the Mids in both the first and second round, shooting even par (71) in the first and two-over par (73) in the second. Junior Bryce Keene (Bakersfield, Calif.) was not far off teammate Selby, finishing six-over par 148 and is tied-for 39th. Senior Chris House (Raleigh, N.C.) and junior August Jonas (Jacksonville, Fla.) both finished with a two-round 151 (+9) to place tied-four 51st. Sophomore Garrett Moyer (Annapolis, Md.) rounded out the Mids five-player squad with a 14-over 156 score after two rounds.

Harvard leads the 15-team field with a 19-under 548 score. Yale and Dartmouth sit second and third with scores of 562 (five-under) and 568 (one-over).

The Crimson's Akash Mirchandani is on top of the leaderboard with an 11-under 133 score through two rounds. Mirchandani's teammate Robert Deng finished tied-for second just three shots behind with an eight-under 136.
