"Chris (Renninger) had a real strong day for us and we are chipping away each round. I certainly think we are poised enough to move up in the standings tomorrow." Navy's three seniors paved the way for the Midshipmen on the second day. Renninger's second-round 69 pushed his score to 1-under par 143 (74-69) to move into a tie for 23rd. Also in 23rd is fourth-year standout Erich Schoen (Sylvania, Ohio) who fired a 1-under par on Friday and came back to shoot par on Saturday.
